Frequently Asked Questions
Understanding attendance challenges can be complex, and we know schools, local authorities and families often have questions about how we can help. Below you’ll find answers to some of the most common queries about our attendance services — from early intervention and case management to support for pupils experiencing emotionally based school avoidance (EBSA).
We work closely with schools and families to provide a tailored end-to-end case management service for each young person that is referred to our service. We manage simple interventions such as families taking holidays in term time, through to complex cases that might require additional interventions to address underlying attendance issues. We work with social care teams and local authority services to initiate fines and court proceedings where families do not respond to planned interventions.

They become a visible, consistent point of contact for the entire school community.
