Frequently Asked Questions

Choosing a diagnostic assessment is an important step, and it’s natural to want clarity about the process. The answers below explain how our assessments work, what’s involved and how we ensure each individual receives an accurate, compassionate and evidence-based evaluation.

What conditions do you assess for?

We provide diagnostic assessments for Autism and ADHD

How do I make a referral?

If you need help with these steps, please call 020 7467 9520.

Do I need a school or GP referral?

No — we accept family-led or self-referrals.

Who carries out the assessments?

Delivered by specialist health professionals, including nurses, occupational therapists, and speech and language therapists as part of a multi-disciplinary approach.

What happens during an assessment?

Each assessment follows a structured process. Typically, this includes a developmental history, direct assessment with the child, and a feedback discussion with the family. Click here for a breakdown of ADHD assessments and autism assessments.

What happens after the assessment?

You’ll receive a full written report, with diagnosis (if appropriate) and recommendations for next steps at home, in school or with other professionals.

How long does the process take?

Once forms are completed, assessments are usually arranged promptly, with a full report provided within a few weeks.

Are your assessments recognised for EHCPs or school support?

Our reports have been accepted as part of EHCP needs assessments and by schools to plan provision. We would advise checking with your local authorities for specific requirements if you are looking for a diagnostic assessment to support an EHCP application.

What are the prices?

Our assessment fees reflect the depth of expertise and care involved in every stage of the process.

Prices are:
ADHD – £1,500
Autism – £1,900
Combined Autism & ADHD – £2,450

We’ll always discuss your needs before booking and provide a clear breakdown of what’s included. Each assessment involves detailed observation, evidence-based testing and a full written report with personalised recommendations for next steps.

Do you provide payment support for private assessments?

Yes, we have a payment plan that can be accessed to support financial access to assessments. We can talk you through this process as we support your assessment booking.

Do you offer Right to Choose?

Due to exceptionally high demand, we have temporarily paused new Right to Choose referrals. This ensures we can continue to provide timely, high-quality assessments for families already in our care. We will update this page as soon as referrals reopen.
