Faster access to educational psychology and therapy services for children

We’re Momenta Assessments and Therapies: the new name for London Children’s Practice. We provide timely assessment services, psychological services and therapeutic support for children and young people, helping families and schools access the right help sooner.

Long waits for public services can leave children without the support they need. Our multi-disciplinary team offers a faster-access alternative, bringing together educational psychologists, occupational therapists and speech and language therapists to provide clear assessment, practical recommendations and tailored therapy.

Whether families need an educational psychologist, occupational therapy or speech and language therapy, we help children feel understood, supported and ready to progress – building clarity, confidence and lasting foundations for learning.

Who we work with

We partner with children, families, schools and local authorities to provide timely assessments and therapies that reduce waiting times and deliver practical, lasting support.

Families

We help families with faster access to children’s therapy services including speech and language therapy, occupational therapy and psychological services without long waits. Our personalised plans reflect each child’s unique needs, whether that’s supporting communication, motor skills, learning development or emotional wellbeing. With timely assessment and therapy, children can feel more confident at home, in school and in everyday life.

Schools

We work with schools to make therapy in education more accessible, providing assessment, advice and one-to-one support where children need it most. Alongside direct support for pupils, we also offer whole-school support and staff development, helping staff understand needs more clearly. We’ll work with your school to develop practical strategies and strengthen whole-school approaches to inclusion, learning and wellbeing.

Local Authorities and Health Partners

We support local authorities with therapy in education. From responsive psychological services and educational psychology support to therapeutic input that can help reduce assessment backlogs and maintain continuity for children and young people. Our multi-disciplinary team works flexibly around local priorities, helping services move from referral to practical support more quickly.

What our assessments and therapies include

Assessments and therapies help families, schools and local authorities understand a child’s needs, identify the right support and move forward with confidence.

An assessment may include background information, conversations with those who know the child best and specialist tools to explore learning, communication, emotional wellbeing or development. This could include educational psychology assessments, a speech and language therapist assessment or wider psychological services.

Therapy may include speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, counselling or targeted one-to-one support, delivered in clinic, online or in an education setting.

Reports provide clear findings, practical recommendations and next steps to help support the child at home, in school or across services.

Where we work

Our diagnostic, assessment and therapy services are available across the UK, giving families, schools and local authorities flexibility and choice.

Many assessments and therapy sessions can be delivered remotely, helping children and young people access timely support wherever they are.

For those looking for in-person support, appointments are currently offered at our hubs in London Chelsea, Epsom and Isleworth, with access to our multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, occupational therapists and speech and language therapists.

This gives families and professionals the option to choose the setting that works best for each child – in person, online, at school or across services.

How our therapies power Momenta 360

Our assessment and therapy services sit at the heart of Momenta 360, providing the specialist insight and therapeutic support that help children overcome barriers to learning, build confidence and stay connected to education.

Through multi-disciplinary support, our team helps identify each child’s needs and shape practical strategies that can be carried through into the classroom, home and wider support network. This integrated approach makes therapy in education more accessible, joined up and focused on long-term progress.

While our services provide the therapeutic foundation for Momenta 360, they are also available independently, giving children, families, schools and local authorities access to support that is practical, emotionally informed and sustainable.
